Romantic Reds for a Winter Wedding

December 9, 2015 | Posted in Trends, Weddings

The holiday season is now just about a month away, which means holiday weddings are in full swing at Hotels Unlimited. If there’s one color New Jersey couples can use to light up their winter- or holiday-themed wedding, it’s red. We gathered up our favorite rosy-red details from weddings at the Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada Inn in Toms River, NJ, to show you how to infuse this sensual, bright color into your wedding day details.

A classic way to begin is a red rose bouquet. One of the most common and accessible flowers anytime of year, red roses look amazing against a white wedding gown and dramatic against a black dress (or tux).

Brides, if you’re looking to add a pop of color to your look, don’t underestimate a classic red lipstick. Though it may not be a makeup look for everyone, it’s a stunning look that’s guaranteed to have all eyes on you. Want a less dramatic look? Try red shoes (or a red ribbon belt) instead.

A red color palette makes decorating for a holiday wedding a breeze. Whether it’s rose petals, poinsettias, some custom napkins or LED uplighting (from our Hotels Unlimited packages), it’s easy to transform your wedding reception into a beautiful, romantic winter evening.

If you decide to plan your wedding with us, you can be sure take advantage of the holiday décor at any of our hotels during the holiday season. This Versailles Ballroom couple posed with our holiday décor for a sweet moment full of beautiful red poinsettias and a red and gold themed tree.

Of course, red’s not the only way to celebrate a wedding during the holidays. Check out other Versailles Ballroom wedding photos for more ideas, or contact us if you’re ready to learn more!
