Flowers
Traditional yet classic elements to add to a centerpiece at your wedding reception are flowers. Using flowers similar to those used in the ceremony, they help to add a romantic ambiance to the reception hall. Some brides opt for the over-the-top tall floral arrangements with jewels while others prefer just a few subtle flowers to add color and life to each table setting.

Candles
Another romantic element that works well as a centerpiece for a wedding reception is candles. Lots of couples opt for candles to set the tone. Outside the Box
Some brides want to steer clear of tradition and step outside of the box with their reception centerpiece ideas. We’ve seen some creative pieces including a bunch of feathers and jewels, flowers accented with feathers, and even recently there’s been an increase in the use of tree branches or bare trees with sparkles and jewels to add some romance and style.
